Recent Price Changes
Explained...

Hello HomeBread Maker,

No doubt you will be aware, many of Australia's wheat growing areas have experienced substantial, and sometimes flooding rains in the past few months. This has done the wheat crop no good. Together with already global shortages [the Russian wheat market was closed earlier this year for example] the world price of wheat has risen substantially during the year.

As a result our costs for flour, grains and related products have increased as per December 2010.

We have not increased our prices since early 2008.

But since that time our fixed overheads have risen steadily, so presently we have no other choice but to adjust our prices to ensure our longterm viability.

Keep On Saving, and bake GOOD Bread!

Rest assured, we've kept our adjustments as minimal as we possibly could, but some major [re]adjustments in the range needed to be made.

Even at our new prices, a loaf baked in your kitchen is still considerably cheaper compared to the price of a similar quality loaf you may be able to buy in your local bakery. [depending on the bag size bought, savings of up to 70% can be achieved]

With Your Continued Support, we hope to be able to absorb some of the additional costs and continue to offer you the best quality products, so you can still enjoy your freshly baked breads, baked in your own kitchen of course!

Supporting Our Farmers
The majority of flour we sell comes from Queensland and Australian Growers.
We feel for the Farmers (trying to) grow our wheat. We are happy to support them anyway we can.

With your continued support, we look forward to providing you with the best quality product, service and assistance in years to come.

Happy baking!

Roland and Marianna
